Disaster Clean-Up
Posi-Shell® is ideal to provide the protective coatings necessary for dust control, erosion control, and contamination containment for disaster clean-up piles. Posi-Shell® cover was successfully used at the World Trade Center 9-11 clean-up on the debris piles located at the Fresh Kills Landfill on Staten Island. The contractor required a durable weather proof cover which would prevent vectors from foraging in the debris piles as they were processed, and further would prevent dust contamination of adjacent areas caused by wind blowing across the debris piles. Posi-Shell® can be formulated to provide a high-durability long-term cover when necessary, or alternatively may be formulated to provide short term and overnight covers for both wet and dry climates.
